Brooklyn, New York

Happy to announce this small gathering of musicians from New York, Lisbon,
Seattle, and Boston at three great venues in Brooklyn.
Presented at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, Issue Project Room, and
Fotofono, our hope is that this will be three nights of thoughtful music and
interesting collaborations. Centered around visiting artists Gust Burns
(piano, from Seattle), Margarida Garcia (doublebass, from Lisbon), and Vic
Rawlings (electronics, amplified cello, from Boston), the ten sets of the
festival will span a wide aesthetic terrain inhabited by solo Shamisen, a
piece for trombone and three subwoofers, and a trio for doublebass and
amplified slide projectors (with images).
