Spin-17 plays new songs in the key of "re-phrygian" major.
Inagaddadabingbongbaybee.
Ed Chang on guitar, Motoko Shimizu on voice, melodica and drums.  We're
doing a longform composition this night which we haven't done in several
years so we're pretty excited!  It will be funny and freaky.  Also lots of
other great artists on the bill, details below..

-Spin-17 serve up original fare and damaged standards from psychedelic rock
to modern noise music

-Stephanie & Saar play four-hands arrangements of Colin Nancarrow’s Sonatina
and From a Faraway Nearby by Charles Griffin

-Jed Distler dusts off his 1997 Assault on Pepper for a salute to the Fab
Four's 40-years young classic

Ben Miller; prepared stereo guitar, radio, electronics. 
with guests: 
Motoko Shimizu (voice on 2 tracks) 
Ed Chang (homemade electronics and reeds on 1 track and live guitar sampling
on 1 track)

Ben Miller’s new release features soundscapes built from a mis-tuned radio
resonating against guitar strings run through live electronics. Other pieces
feature “The Zoo”; his deconstructed Gibson Kalamazoo converted to stereo
with multiple pickups manipulated by metal spring, slide, bow and other
special effects. SPIN-17’s Motoko Shimizu and Ed Chang collaborate with
voice, toys, assorted electronics and live sampling.
