Hi friends and music lovers,

Next week Aaron Dugan and I will perform at the Cake Shop in NYC along with two other fantastic groups; Gunnar and the Seth Misterka / Brian Chase Duo.  It should be a great night of music and if you're in NYC I hope you can make it out (the show info is below).  

If you live too far away to take a train or jump on a jet plane, our new CD "Dog Day" is on the way to the plant and could be on the way to your high-fi in just a matter of weeks.  The kind folks at C3R records in Canada have been working night and day for our June release.

AARON DUGAN / JEFF ARNAL DUO:

Guitarist Aaron Dugan and Percussionist Jeff Arnal create musical tapestries with granular, shifting, multi-colored sounds.  Dynamically and stylistically diverse the duo streams sound from musical memories - the blues, Webern, Go-Go, free jazz, squeaky wheels and middle school dances. Their first CD "Dog Day" will be released on C3R Records in June.

GUNNAR:

Redefines sludge rock a la improvised math that doesn't add up with accidental metal crunch and stream of consciousness vocal ramblings that are sure to cause major issues in their domestic lives one day.  Reid Taylor (electric bass / vocals), Anders Nilsson (guitar) & Madhu Siddappa (drums)

SETH MISTERKA / BRIAN CHASE DUO:

Drummer/Electronic Musician Brian Chase (of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and Electro-Saxophonist Seth Misterka (of Sexy Champions/Dynasty Electric) create mind-bending improvisations and electro-acoustic soundscapes for your listening pleasure.  Their self-titled debut CD is being released in Australia in June.
