We just heard that Buddy the cat from Goodbye Blue Monday needs a major
operation and Steve the owner doesn't have the $$.  Please help Buddy &
Steve.  These are good people who need your support.  GBM is one of the last
cool places to play out music locally and it would be very sad to play

expensive operation. Almost everyone at this point is familiar with Goodbye
Blue Monday and Buddy. Steve Trimboli has put a tremendous amount of effort
into creating a free music space for the community at GBM, and if there's

this is steve from goodbye blue monday. if you can help, my paypal address

my buddy, Buddy is in Antelyes Animal Hospital in Middle VIllage (queens). i
rushed him there yesterday afternoon. 

i brought him there after noticing Buddy's slow and easy-going style
replaced with heavy lethargy, strained breathing and weight loss (he's down
to 7 pounds).

Buddy has, in addition to a 1/4"BB lodged in a muscle near his hip, a
herniated (torn) diaphragm causing his intestines to travel forward in his
body, restricting his ability to breathe as well as causing pressure on his
heart, liver and kidneys.

just try to imagine you're lying down and one day your large intestines
decide to move to where your heart is. got the picture?

and i just plain old can't afford to save him.
he will need intestinal reconstruction, surgery that would cost, including
aftercare, somewhere between 3 and 5 thousand dollars.

i've pretty much leveraged my life in making goodbye blue monday take off.
this place hasn't the money in the bank, (and neither do i) to handle such
an emergency.

i like to believe many GBM performers and clientelle have had occasion to
photograph, sit, pet, stroke, hug or play with him and do so whenever they
come here for a show and i'm calling on those people now. 

please help him.
